Description

20mm. Solid, polished, with
gradually tapering spire which is often bent towards apex, whorls gently convex, base gently rounded, aperture pear shaped, outer lip curved. In profile varical grooves showing previous positions of lip are obliquely aligned on spire whorls. Shell otherwise smooth. Milky white. Habitat: on echinoderms in sandy mud offshore. Distribution: NG, GO.
