Cirsotrema (Cirsotrema) bonum (Melvill, 1906) (Fig. 190) C. bonum was found in the Gulf of Oman at a depth of 156 fathoms. It reaches a maximum size of approximately 14mm. It is an elongate species with at least 6 whorls. There are about 12-14 thick, wavy-edged costae per whorl. It has a strong basal ridge. The outer lip is thickened and the aperture is circular. This species should be compared to C varicosum and the other Indo-Pacific members of this genus.
