Description

This recently described species has been found in the northern part of the Bay of Biscay at a depth of 1000m and reaches a maximum size of about 16mm. While the 11 teleoconch whorls are grayish white in color, the basal disk is brownish. The 17-18 costae are low and broad and there are 8-12 spiral cords per whorl which cross the costae. There are about 7 spiral lines on the base of the shell. The aperture is probably oval to angular and a columella is present.
