Description

This elongate species has been found intertidally and offshore, from Natal, South Africa, and the Red Sea to Japan. It attains a maximum size of approximately 23mm. It has 5-6 teleoconch whorls and 8-10 thin costae per whorl which are not reflected. There are small peaks on the shoulders of the white costae. The aperture is oval and the operculum is yellowish-brown.
