Description

This species has been taken at a depth of 2743 - 3255 meters off Cape Point, South Africa. It reaches a maximum size of about 21mm. E. bonaspei is white with a thin shell. There are about 3 swollen teleoconch whorls separated by shallow sutures. The aperture is oval and rather large relative to the size of the shell. The outer lip is thin and the umbilicus is open. The costae are very low and thin and spiral lines are present.
