Description

Epitonium alata: 8mm. Short spired with rapidly expanding, slightly separated whorls and thick ribs which are upwardly hooked above and connected to each other at sutures. Umbilicus obscured by converging ribs. White. Habitat: sea anemones and beached. Distribution: Persian Gulf, Iran.
