Description

Shell ovate-elongate, inflated; anterior end rounded; posterior end longer, broadly rounded; posterodorsal margin slightly convex. Periostracum brilliantly polished, yellowish. Posterior series of hinge teeth approximately three times number of anterior series. Pallial sinus deep. Length to 35 mm.
South of the Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia (51.4°N) [USNM], to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur (22.9°N) [CAS], in 200 - 1,600 m.
