Minute Limops Description: Color whitish with orangish adherent periostracum; shape sub- circular; sculpture of alternating wide and narrow, steplike commarginal ribs crossed by radial threads, producing a beaded appearance at intersection; hinge plate wide and arched. Habitat: Coarse sediment at depths from 3 to 334 m (10 to 1095 ft). Remarks: Specimen in photograph collected by Tunnell et al. (1978) during SBP at 27°53.7'N, 93°37.7'W, at station X-2 at a depth of 104 m (347 ft). See Rice and Kornicker (1965); Coan et al. (2000); Mikkelsen and Bieler (2004). Synonym: Limopsis abyssicola A.
