Description

Synonym: Coralichlamys acroporicola Iredale, 1939. Shell length to 20 mm; compressed, right valve slightly more inflated than left. Sculpture: numerous fine radial ridges, finely scaled, particularly in the left valve; auricles ridged and scaled. Colour: white, often with radial rays of brown blotches in left valve; interior white, with some brown, particularly at the hinge line.
Habitat: nestling in Acropora coral. Distribution: Great Barrier Reef, central Queensland to Northern Territory.
