Description

Obliquely oval, not gaping, moderately compressed, solid, white, with 25-30 smooth, rounded radial ribs, interspaces with microscopic commarginal scratches; interior white, hinge line with three or four small teeth, margin crenulated by exterior ribs. North Carolina to Florida, West Indies, Gulf of Mexico, South America (Brazil). Height 3 mm (to 5 mm).
