Description

Elongated oval, slightly oblique and broader dorsally, not gaping, moderately compressed, thin-walled, white, with spiny radial ribs; interior white, margin crenulated by exterior ribs. North Carolina to Florida, West Indies, Gulf of Mexico. Height 7 mm (to 9 mm). Note: The valve photographed is of a SYNTYPE specimen of Limatula setifera.
