DISTRIBUTION Guadeloupe, Martinique.
DESCRIPTION Shell medium in size, conical with impressed sutures, color brown, sutures and 1 spiral cord darker. Protoconch conical of about 4.5 smooth whorls; seen under ESEM, above the sutures there is a thin spiral cord composed by granular microprotuberances and a very narrow band of axial riblets immediately below. Teleoconch of 9.5 whorls with reticulate sculpture of 3 equal spiral cords crossed by weaker axial ribs, about 20 on last whorl; beads at each intersection. A fourth beaded cord is emerging at the base of the last whorl from the insertion of the outer lip; border between columella and base highlighted by a weaker cord. Columella short and broad, obliquely truncated, with a surface crossed by thin crisp threads, columellar callus bordering a circular aperture; anal sulcus and siphonal canal well defined, outer lip expanded.
COMPARISON Cerithiopsis chambardi n. sp. differs from the similar Cerithiopsis dannyi n. sp. by its larger size and the conical, not inflated shape.
