Description

Richard Kilburn created a new genus for this species which was found in deep water off of eastern Transkei, South Africa. It is a small species with a maximum size of only 6mm. The sutures on this whitish species are shallow and the whorls convex, with 25-60 fine thread-like costae per whorl. Microscopic spiral threads are present and the aperture is oval. The protoconch is cone shaped with about 3.5 whorls.
