Description

Distribution: Louisiana, Texas; Yucatan. Size: 5 mm
Description: Color off white; shape conic, turreted; sculpture of strong spiral cords and axial ribs, producing cancellate sculpture; base with a spiral cord; nuclear whorls smooth, partially immersed into preceding whorl, bulbous; aperture broadly auriculate, flared basally.
Habitat: Coral reefs, shale domes, and shell hash. Usually found at depths from 11 to 73 m (36 to 240 ft).
