Description

The shape of the shell is fusiform; nuclear whorls smooth, the remaining 4 rather shouldered; the last whorl has a strong varix and a pronounced sinus. The surface is strongly cancellated, the whorls having about 10 axial ribs, and 3 spiral cords, all of nearly the same strength, with deep square pits between them. The colour is light yellow all over, with a slightly darker spiral band on the bottom whorl; and the size 6x3 mm. Characteristics. The shell resembles the last two, but differs in being more broadly conic, with fewer whorls, and much more strongly cancellated.
