The shape of the shell is narrowly conic; 1 smooth but broken nuclear whorl, the remaining 5 slightly convex ; aperture long and narrow. The surface is marked by broad axial ribs, 11 on the penultimate whorl, about twice as wide as the spaces between them: there is a small cord at the sutures, and some line spiral lines below this. The colour is yellowish brown, the axial ribs being rubbed white. The size is 16x6 mm. Characteristics. The shell resembles 148, halistrepta, but is narrower and more pointed, with a longer foot and lighter in colour. It also resembles macilenta, Melville (1023), but is rather narrower and has fewer whorls, which are not so angular.
