Description

The shape of the shell is narrowly conic ; 2 smooth nuclear whorls, the remaining 5 slightly convex with moderately impressed sutures. The aperture is rather broad. The surface is marked by axial ribs, about 12 on the last whorl, crossed by very fine spiral lines. The colour is brown with a light band above the periphery of the whorls; and the size 8 x 3-5 mm. Characteristics. This differs from the young of Naudedrillia praetermissa, in being narrower and with more globular whorls. It is also near D. thetis, but differs in details and colouring.
