Description

This deep water species has been found off Transkei, South Africa and attains a maximum size of 9mm. It is yellowish white in color, with about 9 whorls including two protoconch whorls. There are 12-14 costae per whorl with fine spiral threads between the costae and occasional varices on later whorls. The basal cord is very strong and the aperture is almost circular.
