Description

This species has been found in the Bay of Biscay south to Mauritania. It is relatively large, reaching a maximum size of about 26mm and has been found at depths ranging from 3850 to 4450m. There are numerous serrated costae and about 19-20 spiral threads per whorl. The 7 teleoconch whorls are convex and the sutures are deeply impressed. The whorls and costae are not angled below the suture. The shell is white in color. The umbilicus is narrowly open. The aperture is round and the outer lip is thin.
