Description

Small (5mm) and very rare, known only from off Culebra Island, Puerto Rico, at a depth of 390 fathoms. Very thin and delicate. Up to eight whorls, there are 11 costae on the body whorl, low, thread-like but distinct. The spiral sculpture by which it differs from E. formosissima, consists of only three or four threads, grouped near the outside of the whorl. A picture of this species can be found in Johnsonia.
