Description

This species has been found in shallow water, from Natal, South Africa to Pakistan and Thailand. It is a tiny species which appears to reach a maximum size of only 5mm. It is broad, with about 5 teleoconch and 3 1/2 protoconch whorls. There are about 21-27 thin costae per whorl which are not reflected. There are about 8-10 spiral threads per whorl. The aperture is almost closed or at most narrowly open. It is white and the outer lip is thin.
