Description

This species has been found in deep water off Natal and Transkei, South Africa. It reaches a maximum size of approximately 7mm. It is white, with about 5.5 teleoconch whorls. There are 12-19 thick reflected costae and about 20 spiral threads per whorl. There are small peaks on the costae inside the suture. The aperture is oval and the outer lip is thickened. The suture is narrow and there are about 4.5 protoconch whorls.
