Description

This species appears to have a very restricted range. It has only been found in shallow water in Durban Bay, South Africa. It is white and attains a maximum size of only 4mm. There are about 5 strongly convex teleoconch whorls with 13-16 low costae per whorl. The width of the costae is very variable and the spaces between the costae are smooth. The suture is open. A narrow umbilicus is present.
