Shell elongate pyriform; base strongly constricted. Rounded protoconch of 1.5 smooth convex translucent whorls; limit from teleoconch ill-defined on 1/4 whorl, marked by development of the 3 spiral cords. Teleoconch whorls with 3 smooth spiral cords, equal in strength on last whorl, the median cord weaker on earlier whorls. Very fine lamellose axial threads in their intervals, well distinct under microscope. A fourth smooth, weaker spiral cord emerging from suture at base of last whorl, followed immediately below it by a fifth cord, and a sixth one at mid-height of base. Colour plain orange-brown, the 3 earlier whorls paler and whitish, protoconch white. Size: maximum total height 3.8 mm; maximum width 1.2 mm; height of protoconch 0.30 mm; width of protoconch at base 0.33 mm.
