Distribution: Texas.
Size: Diameter 1.72 mm; altitude 0.78 mm. Description: Color translucent white in live or fresh material to opaque in dead specimens; shape discoid and thin, not planispiral; sculpture of many spiral grooves with wavy axial growth lines and low, radiating, thickened, wavy riblets on flattened base; angle forms at juncture between periphery and base of shell; spiral ridges disappear toward umbilicus; protoconch of 1,75 smooth whorls with a varix at the termination of the protoconch; teleoconch of 1,25 whorls; spire flat and depressed; umbilicus wide and somewhat deep; aperture oblique to subquadrate for the posterior portion of the periostome, which extends well in advance of the anterior portion of the shell.
Habitat: Shallow coastal waters at depths from 0 to 44 m (144 ft); may be endemic to the northwestern Gulf of Mexico.
