Description

8mm. Thin, brittle, translucent, roundly oval in outline, flat-cap shaped in profile, margin very slightly arched along longer axis, posterior slope concave; globular protoconch near posterior margin. Fine concentric ridges with irregular scales which are larger and denser towards shell edge, visible internally. Muscle scar has 2 distinct lobes each side linked by opaque rim parallel with shell edge. White. Habitat: offshore and beached.
