Description

This species ranges from Madeira to Portugal and the Azores and reaches a maximum size of about 9mm. It has been taken in depths of anywhere from 450 to 1500m. E. folini has about 6 teleoconch whorls, with about 20 serrated costae per whorl. The costae and whorls are angled below the suture. About 16-17 spiral threads are present on each whorl. The umbilicus is closed and the aperture is slightly oval. A basal ridge is present. The outer lip is thin. The 3.5 protoconch whorls are ribbed.
