Description

Shells small, slender, fusiformis; spire subacute, nuclear whorls two, smooth, normal whorls five, slightly subangular and ornamented by six large, acute, radiating ribs with broad, concave interspaces; besides these the whole surface is cancellated by minute lines; color brownish-white, ornamented by a few reddish-brown, revolving bands, one much larger than the rest, in the middle of the whorl; aperture narrow, columella very slightly twisted; outer lip acute, sinus almost obsolete. Long., .34; lat, .1; long, aper., .15 in. (Gabb.)
