Description

This offshore species has been found in deep water off the Agulhas Banks and Transkei, South Africa. It is a slender species, pale orange-yellow with deep sutures and rounded whorls and reaches a maximum size of approximately 18mm. There are up to 40 costae and about 24-32 spiral lines per whorl. Varices are broad and rounded. The surface of the shell is pitted and there are approximately 11-12 whorls including 2 protoconch whorls.
