The continuous peristome sets this species (and the next one) apart from most of the other species of Eulimella. We agree with Schander (1994) and Penas & Rolan (1997) to keep it in the present genus. Our largest specimen measures 2.1 x 0.7 mm, which is larger than the dimensions reported in the literature.
