Ancistrolepis damon: Shell large, solid, consists of 7.5 slowly growing, weakly or moderately convex whorls, which are divided by almost channelled sutura. The profile of the whorl is concave between the sutura and shoulder keel. The spire is raised. Spiral sculpture consists of very thin distinct riblets, which are present on the all shell surface; and two or more keels on the shoulder whorls. There are one or few distinct keels on the periphery and base in the form polygramma. Also, there are 10-12 secondary ribs, which are irregular in width and prominence. Aperture is oval, wide, occupies about 5/10 of the shell height, white. Inner lip is covered with thick white or gray callus. Shell is covered with thin grayish, brownish or dark-brown periostracum, which form very short bristles.
