Description

Shell size typical for genus, adult size up to 7.0 mm; fusiform, elongate. Suture slightly impressed. Protoconch paucispiral, 1.4 smooth whorls. Teleoconch of slightly less than 4.5 whorls. Axial sculpture of 10-12 equally spaced axial ribs on all whorls. Spiral sculpture consisting of seven very thin, flattened cords on spire, 15-16 on final whorl, and basal cords, ventrally ranging to just above mid-columella. Outer lip thickened, with small rim, bearing continuation of spiral sculpture. Inner lip denticulate, with five denticles; adapicalmost denticles markedly stronger. Columellar callus thickened. Parietal callus thin. Columella with rim of partially merged denticles. Siphonal canal short, open, straight. Teleoconch whorls off-white in colour. Protoconch off-white. Aperture and columella off-white. Holotype height 7.0 mm.
