Distribution: Tampa Bay, Florida, Texas. Size: 3 to 4 mm
Description: Color white, shell translucent; shape narrowly conic; sculpture of teleoconch whorls producing S-shaped or wavy axial cords; spiral sculpture consists of usually 9 threads found between the wavy axial cords, producing a reticulate appearance; suture distinct, incised; nuclear whorl round and smooth, making a blunt apex; aperture ovate with outer lip thin and inner lip concave and reflected; anomphalous; operculum oval. Habitat: Typically in shallow, brackish water near mangroves. Shells found at depths from 0 to 305 m (1000 ft).
