Interchangeable taxa

Pleurifera fulgens n. sp. is set apart from all congeners by the distinct subsutural rim in combination with the lack of both spiral and axial sculpture. Additional differences include the adapical cords ranging to mid-parietal height, the absence of the columellar rim and the thinner, semi-translucent shell.
