Description

Shell whitish gray, slender fusiform, with smooth elongated spire consisting of an exposed mamillate protoconch and five teleoconch whorls. Spire ornamented by yellowish white subsutural band having punctations of purple brown, quadrate dots and with a shallow depression indicating suture above the subsutural band, and also many fine lines on the spire whorls. Middle zone separated by an extremity of yellowish white subsutural band posteriorly and by ancillid groove with small labral denticle anteriorly, covered with a fine zigzac patterns developing from punctated quardrate purple brown bandies assorted on the ancillid zone. Fasciolar band separated by a fasciolar groove posteriorly and by a raised edge of basal zone anteriorly. Columellar pillar with 4-5 folds separated by a furrow. Fasciolar band, basal zone and columellar pillar all whitish gray in color. Aperture narrow, white gray inside. Outer lip thin, simple. Siphonal canal small, deep. Length 8.0 mm; Width 3.0 mm; Aperture 4.0 mm

Interchangeable taxa

This new species resembles Amalda (Gracilispira) albaniensis Ninomiya, 1987, but differs in having many fine lines on spire whorls except on the subsutural band, and more elongated spire.
