Description

Shell minute, smooth, thin, white, subglobose, high-shouldered, spire depressed. Spire one quarter height of aperture, whorls 3½, including a tiny smooth flattened protoconch of one whorl. Suture impressed. Umblicus very narrow but deep and bordered by a crescentic sharp spiral thread. The only sculpture is in the form of fairly close regular growth lines showing faintly over the lower half of the base. Aperture subcircular, peristome thin, discontinuous.

Height, 0·63 mm.; diameter, 0·9 mm. (holotype).

Locality: 100 fathoms off Big King, Three Kings Islands, N.Z.
