Description

Shell minute, valves dissimilar in size, shape, and sculpture; auricles nearly equal; umbo projecting with a callous crest; hinge plate narrow, finely wrinkled, chondrophore small, projecting into the cavity of the valve; right valve smaller, overlapped ventrally by the left.
Distribution: Southern Australia.
