Oval fan-shaped, anterior auricle slightly larger than posterior, compressed, thin-walled, pastel yellowish gray to light brown with lines and patches of opaque white, with 11-15 broad, low, rounded radial ribs; interior with radials reflecting exterior pattern. Florida, Bermuda, Bahamas, West Indies, Caribbean Central America, South America (Colombia). Length 17 mm (to 26 mm). Formerly in Lyropecten.
