Description

Shell length to 36 mm; compressed, auricles very unequal. Sculpture: right valve with about 28-30 radial ribs; interstices with fine, irregular radial scratchings, and irregular concentric growth pauses; left valve with about 22 rounded radial ribs, which are profusely scaled; interstices with fine, irregular scratchings. Colour: off-white, ribs pale tan; interior white, with some dark tan. Habitat: offshore, to 466 metres. Distribution: off southern New South Wales.
