Description

Mäßig groß, schlank, länglich-ovoid, mit ziemlich kurzer Spira. Farblos. Letzter Umgang groß, gepreßt-konvex, mit Spiralen Grübchenreihen. Mündung lang-gestreckt-birnförmig. Spindel mit kräftiger, schiefer Spindelfalte. Die Gruppe leitet mit tenellus zu Odostomia über.

Shell colorless, elongated oval; spiral small; body whorl large, with spiral rows of small pits, flatly bulging; aperture fairly long; columella with a strong fold.
The median part of the radula has no plates; toward the lateral margin there are 4 plates which are not close together and gradually increase in size consisting of a long and narrow base and a pointed cutting edge with 3 or 4 teeth on the posterior margin; one outer plate has a very long, gradually losing untoothed process.
