Description

Members of this group are found in deep water. This species has been found in deep water off Transkei, South Africa. It is yellowish-white with a deep suture and rounded whorls and reaches a maximum size of approximately 9mm. There are 10-14 costae and a single varix as well as about 8 spiral cords per whorl. The whorls are beaded where the spiral cords cross the costae. A thin basal cord is present and there are spiral lines on the concave base. The aperture is oval. The 2 protoconch whorls are ribbed.
