Description

Shell, small, smooth but with fine concentric growth-lines seen only with the aid of a lens; depressedly conical, somewhat cap-shaped; cream with a single row of pale blue spots and crescent shaped opaque markings extending from the apex centrally, more or less along the outer arc of the shell; apex recurved anteriorly, sometimes beyond the margin. Aperture oblong-ovate. Interior white, shining. Size:0,25 inch.

Interchangeable taxa

A very striking little species easily identified by the dorsal line of delicate blue spots.

Distribution

In South Australia found living on the seaweed Cymodocea antárctica associated with Asteracmea stozvae Verco, 1906.
