Description

A minute, pointed, white shell of 7 whorls including 5 brownish nuclear whorls with a minute tip, and the last whorl bearing fine, curved, diagonal axial riblets, sharply angulated at the periphery, the shoulders sloping strongly for over half the whorls height. Sculpture consists of 11 to 12 low, flexuous ribs, widely spaced, which become a trifle knobby on the periphery, and, on the body whorl taper down. The columella is slightly curved. The surface is covered with delicate spiral cords which override the ribs weakly. The aperture is long and narrow, nearly half the length of the shell. Outer lip thin. No anal sinus.
