This is the small, white, smooth and polished globular shell with a low spire. The aperture is wide and semilunate and deposits a thick callus on the inner margin forming a large and broad tooth. Height 4.5 mm. and breadth 5.5 mm. (figured specimen) Height 3.5 mm., and breadth 3.8 mm. Locality: Ankyaba, Kakeromajima, an isle near Amami Oshima. Distribution: Ceylon.
