Description

Shell elongate, much longer posteriorly, heavy, smooth; anterior end short,
rounded; posterior end produced, rounded; sulcus almost absent. Hinge heavy. Length to 2.6 mm.
Arctic Ocean from Chukchi Rise (77.6°N) [RBCM], Beaufort Sea (71.8°N) [LACM], west to Novosibirskiye Ostrova, in 2,130 to 3,800 m.
Coan, E. et al., 2000. Bivalve Seashells of Western North America. Marine bivalve mollusks from Arctic Alaska to Baja California.
