In this publication the species depicted and described by the authors as a first record for Greek waters of Chrysallida fischeri (Hornung and Mermod, 1925) was identified as Odostomella bicincta (Tiberi, 1868) by J. J. van Aartsen – a species native to the Mediterranean.
The error was probably caused by the fact that the figure in the CIESM Atlas (Zenetos et al. 2004, p. 136) is actually another native species - Odostomella doliolum (Philippi, 1844) – already recorded from Greek waters (Antoniadou et al. 2005).
In this publication the species depicted and described by the authors as a first record for Greek waters of Chrysallida fischeri (Hornung and Mermod, 1925) was identified as Odostomella bicincta (Tiberi, 1868) by J. J. van Aartsen – a species native to the Mediterranean.
