Labial palps

Some individuals are difficult to distinguish from Celypha cespitana . If in doubt, examine the labial palps – in C. flavipalpana, they are completely covered in light yellow scales, whereas in C. cespitana , at least the tip is brownish (see https://lepiforum.org/wiki/page/Celypha_flavipalpana)
