Determination note
As found in "Faune de France n°93" by PERICART J. (page 194; Fig. 64).
The eggs match the description
- Arma custos : egg yellowish with a dark band, gray operculum.
They do not match
- Troilus luridus : egg dark with very marked cells and white pubescence.
Personal observation: For the first instar, A. custos has diffuse red coloring while T. Luridus has more defined red markings.
