Jedinec na fotce náleží k rodu Carassius, jistě však nejde o druh C. carassius. Fotku bych přiřadil spíše k taxonu Carassius gibelio, nicméně může jít i o jiný druh "asijských karasů". Viz studie Lukáše Kalouse z ČZU.
