Pyralestes ragusai Turati, 1922

Male specimens of P. ragusai measure 23-25mm. Antennae bipectinate and can be of different colour forms: reddish brown, light greyish green and dark greyish green. It is on the wing from August to October. This species was recorded for Sicilia in 1922 and has been recorded for the first time from Malta and also again from Sicilia after a long time.
